Required Technical Skill Set
MicroStrategy Object Architect and semantic layer design
MicroStrategy Reports, Dossiers, Dashboards, iCubes, and In-memory analytics development, Data visualization, storytelling, and UI/UX principles for BI, Performance Optimization, Advanced proficiency in SQL/Teradata SQL/PLSQL,
Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, reporting, and dashboarding principles.

Must-Have
- Strong working experience as a MicroStrategy Developer with a strong portfolio of developed reports, dashboards, and dossiers.
- Hands-on expertise in schema design and development using MicroStrategy Object Architect.
- Extensive experience in creating and optimizing Reports & Documents (Grids, Graphs, Freeform SQL reports).
- Working knowledge of MicroStrategy SQL Engine, VLDB settings, and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of visualization best practices, UX principles, and KPI-driven storytelling.
- Expert ability to write, debug, and optimize complex SQL/Teradata SQL.
- Solid understanding of BI best practices, data warehouse schemas, and performance tuning of reporting objects.
- Experience translating business requirements into BI solutions, conducting testing, and providing post-deployment support.
Good-to-Have
- MicroStrategy Developer certification
- Experience with MicroStrategy Cloud development/deployment
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration platforms
- Domain experience in Telecom
- Knowledge of additional BI/visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Scripting skills for automation (Python, Shell)
- Experience with agile development methodologies
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
- Design & implement MicroStrategy schema using Object Architect.
- Develop & maintain enterprise-grade reports, dossiers, dashboards, & cubes to enable business with Self-Service/Adhoc analytics.
- Build reusable attributes, metrics, hierarchies, filters, and prompts.
- Optimize SQL & MicroStrategy objects for performance and scalability.
- Apply BI development standards, naming conventions, and governance practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting at BI and database layers.
- Maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and best practices.
- Work with data engineering and database teams on data modeling and warehouse design.
- Design & build compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards that effectively tell a story and drive business insight.
