As part of our UAE expansion, we are seeking an experiencedSME Sales Leadto own revenue growth within the small and medium business segment.

Role Overview

The SME Sales Lead will be responsible forbuilding, managing, and scaling SME sales in the UAE. This role is both strategic and hands-on, combining direct selling, pipeline management, and team leadership as the business grows.

You will work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to drive merchant acquisition, onboarding, and long-term revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Own SME revenue targets for the UAE market.
  • Drive new merchant acquisition through inbound and outbound sales efforts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification to deal closure.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-potential SME merchants.

Market & Customer Engagement

  • Develop deep understanding of SME customer needs across key industries (e-commerce, retail, services, marketplaces).
  • Conduct product demos and consultations tailored to merchant use cases.
  • Build long-term relationships with merchants and key partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
  • Partner with Product and Operations to improve onboarding and activation.
  • Provide market feedback to influence product roadmap and pricing.

Reporting & Optimization

  • Track sales metrics, forecasts, and performance reports.
  • Continuously optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and close rates.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and internal policies.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years focused on SMEs.
  • Strong background in fintech, payments, SaaS, or financial services.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong understanding of the UAE SME and business ecosystem.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling payment gateways, POS, or financial infrastructure.
  • Previous experience building or leading SME sales teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Arabic language skills are a plus.
