Owns the vision, strategy and roadmap for Bevatel's SMS Platform, including dashboard, sending flows, API, senders, routing, quotas and analytics. Accountable for SMS growth and profitability in coordination with the SMS PO, design and platform teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate SMS product vision, positioning and target segments across B2B customers
- Own end-to-end SMS roadmap including:
- Quick and bulk sending flows, SMS templates and scheduling
- Sender ID management and compliance policies
- SMS API and developer experience
- SMS reporting, analytics, quotas and deliverability metrics
- Conduct continuous discovery through market research, competitive analysis, customer interviews and product data analysis to identify opportunities and prioritize features
- Collaborate with Head of Product, Senior PMs and Marketing on SMS pricing, packaging and website messaging where relevant
- Work closely with SMS PO, design team and engineering to deliver roadmap items in incremental releases
- Own and monitor key SMS KPIs including:
- SMS active customers and message volume
- SMS deliverability rates and quality metrics
- SMS revenue and gross margin
- Attach rate of SMS to other Bevatel products (VOIP, Chat)
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to ensure SMS GTM strategy supports revenue targets and customer retention
- Represent SMS product in leadership forums and secure alignment on priorities and investment
Requirements
Experience:
- 3–5+ years as a Product Manager in B2B SaaS environments
- Experience in messaging, CPaaS, telecom or communications platforms is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated track record of owning a product area end-to-end and delivering measurable business impact
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with product usage data and financial metrics
- Good technical understanding of APIs, messaging routing, gateway integrations and platform architecture
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Customer-centric mindset with experience conducting user research and discovery
- Ability to work effectively across Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
