Job Description

The Social Media and Content Strategist will shape and execute Brau's content and social media strategy to build meaningful audience engagement, strong brand differentiation, and measurable customer demand. This role focuses on creating messaging that speaks directly to customer pain points and aspirations, while translating trends into high-performing short-form video content.

Key Responsibilities

Develop customer-centric messaging angles that address burning needs (beauty confidence, convenience, premium results, expert trust, etc.) while clearly delivering on Brau's USPs such as customized treatments, international master artists, premium tools, and complimentary consultations

Build strategic narratives and content pillars based on:

*Customer motivations and unmet needs

*Competitive differentiation

*Brau's unique value proposition and personality

Create trend-led, highly engaging short-form video strategies for Instagram Reels and TikTok, rooted in:

*Deep understanding of target audience interests, behaviors, and content consumption patterns

*Platform culture and algorithm dynamics

*Real-time social media trends and creative formats

Own monthly/quarterly content planning, campaign themes, and content calendars

Collaborate with internal teams and creators to guide content production and execution

Support influencer and creator collaborations with strong strategic briefs and content concepts

Drive performance optimization through analytics and audience insights (engagement, reach, sentiment, traffic, leads, bookings, ROI)

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate customer needs into messaging and content

Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends, audiences, and engagement drivers

Data-informed mindset for content performance analysis and optimization

Ability to create compelling content angles, hooks, and campaign ideas

Plus / Preferred

Content creation and editing skills are a plus (Reels/TikTok video production, mobile editing, creative execution)

Copywriting experience that delivers emotional resonance and conversion

Experience with beauty, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands in GCC markets

Trend-driven but aligned with brand identity

Highly engaging, relatable, and shareable

Focused on audience interests, not just brand promotion

Comfort directing creative ideas while also having the ability to execute content hands-on when needed
