Role Description The Social Media Content Creator is a full-time, on-line. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing daily social media content that highlights breaking news and key stories from the MENA region. Tasks include writing posts and captions, adapting news articles into short-form content, producing basic visual assets or coordinating with design resources, and scheduling content across platforms such as Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. The Social Media Content Creator monitors trends, engages with audiences through comments and messages, and collaborates with editorial and video teams to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent messaging. The role also involves using analytics tools to track performance, refine content strategy, and support growth and engagement goals.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in social media content creation, including writing clear, engaging posts and adapting news stories for different platforms.
• Experience with social media strategy, scheduling tools, and basic analytics for platforms such as Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Ability to create or brief simple visual content (images, thumbnails, short clips) and collaborate effectively with design and video teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of the MENA region, current events, and digital news consumption trends.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in handling news content, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Comfort working on-site in Dubai and collaborating with cross-functional editorial and production teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Media, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
