Role Description
This is a part-time, hands-on Social Media Content Creator role based in Cairo, Egypt. The role is execution-focused, responsible for filming, editing, and publishing short-form content for Instagram and TikTok.
You will be actively shooting content, editing videos, and producing daily and weekly content that reflects YMZ Cairo's brand aesthetic. This is not a strategy role the focus is on content production and execution.
You will work closely with the brand founder and creative team to bring ideas to life through high-quality, on-trend visual content
Responsibilities
- Create and execute social media content for Instagram and TikTok
- Shoot, edit, and design visual content (posts, stories, reels, short-form videos)
- Write clear, on-brand captions aligned with YMZ Cairo's tone
- Ensure visual consistency across the Instagram and TikTok feeds
- Capture BTS, lifestyle, and in-store content when needed
- Stay up to date with social media and fashion trends
- Collaborate directly with the brand's founder & marketing lead
Knowledge & experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, or a related field
- Proven experience filming and editing short-form social media content
- Ability to shoot and edit independently (no external videographer)
- Strong eye for aesthetics, composition, and storytelling
- 12 years of experience in social media content creation or a related role
- Experience within the fashion, luxury, or lifestyle sector is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in content creation and design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
- Good working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok)
- Basic understanding of performance tracking and analytics
