Job Description

Our client is a fast-growing UK/European membership club built around sporting and business networking, live events, and genuine communities. Members connect at regular meetups and networking events, enjoy VIP hospitality at major live sporting occasions alongside big-name sports stars, and tap into exclusive offers from leading brands.

At the heart of it all is a simple idea: sport is the world's greatest common denominator. It breaks the ice, sparks conversation, and brings good people together to do good business — and that's exactly the spirit this club has built its community around.

The UAE launch will be following the social sporting calendar both in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Position Summary

We are seeking a creative, confident, and dynamic Social Media Executive to lead the day-to-day management of our social media presence. This role is ideal for someone with a journalism background or equivalent experience in news, media, or digital storytelling who understands how to create engaging, accurate, and timely content.

As a face and personality of our brand, you will create compelling content, appear regularly on camera, engage with our online community, and tell stories that build trust, grow our audience, and strengthen our reputation. You will stay ahead of trends while ensuring all content reflects our brand values and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Develop, manage, and execute social media strategies across all key platforms.
  • Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging content, including videos, graphics, interviews, and written posts.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and build meaningful engagement with our audience.
  • Track platform trends and identify opportunities to increase reach, engagement, and followers.

Content Creation

  • Produce high-quality written, visual, and video content for social media and digital channels.
  • Research and write compelling stories, features, and news updates.
  • Conduct interviews with members, stakeholders, partners, and industry experts.
  • Capture photography and video content at events, meetings, and organizational activities.
  • Edit videos and images suitable for each social media platform.

Brand Ambassador

  • Become the recognizable face and personality of the organization across social media.
  • Present confidently on camera for interviews, updates, promotional campaigns, and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Represent the organization professionally at events and networking opportunities.
  • Help develop a distinctive brand voice that is engaging, authentic, and credible.

Analytics and Performance

  • Monitor and report on social media performance using analytics tools.
  • Recommend improvements based on audience insights and platform data.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness against agreed KPIs.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams to identify stories, campaigns, and content opportunities.
  • Support marketing, communications, membership, and events activity through engaging digital content.
  • Ensure all communications align with brand guidelines and organizational messaging.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Journalism, Broadcast Journalism, Communications, Media, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional journalism or newsroom experience.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience managing professional social media accounts across multiple platforms.
  • Confident and engaging presenter who is comfortable appearing on camera.
  • Strong interviewing skills and the ability to identify compelling stories.
  • Experience creating short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and performance reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Desireable Skills

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar creative software.
  • Photography and videography skills.
  • Experience with live streaming and podcast production.
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital content optimization.
  • Experience working within a membership organization, charity, professional association, or corporate communications environment.

Reporting Line

Reports to: CEO

Working Arrangements

This role requires flexibility, including evening and weekends, to cover events and produce live or time-sensitive content. Some travel may be required.

Full- time in office / at events .
