Job Summary:
As a Social Media Manager at entourage marketing & events agency, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing social media strategies for our diverse portfolio of clients in the marketing, advertising and events industry. You will be responsible for creating and managing social media campaigns, driving engagement, and increasing brand visibility for our clients. Your expertise in social media platforms, content creation, and analytics will be essential in delivering outstanding results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the client's business goals and target audience.
- Content Creation: Create engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and graphics. Ensure content is tailored to each platform's best practices.
- Content Calendar: Develop and maintain a content calendar, scheduling posts and ensuring consistent and timely delivery of content.
- Community Management: Monitor and engage with the audience, responding to comments, messages, and mentions across social media platforms. Foster a positive online community around the brand.
- Paid Advertising: Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns to maximize reach, engagement, and ROI.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and others. Generate regular reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Client Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, providing updates on campaign performance, results, and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with graphic designers, content writers, and other team members to ensure cohesive and visually appealing content.
- Crisis Management: Be prepared to handle and mitigate any social media crises or negative feedback professionally and promptly.
- Adherence to Brand Guidelines: Ensure all social media content aligns with the client's brand guidelines and adheres to ethical and legal standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5-7 years experience in Social Media Management.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
- Strong knowledge of various social media platforms and their algorithms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
