A Remote Social Media Video Editor.

We're looking for a creative storyteller with a passion for YouTube and skilled in video editing to join our team at Equiti Group. If you can shoot with a mirrorless camera, record clean audio, a solid understanding of lighting setups, color grading and SFX, this role is for you. You'll help us bring our brand, culture, events, and market news to life on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook, and more.

Responsibilities

• Capture and create standout content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks, behind-the-scenes, event highlights, news bites) using mirrorless cameras.
• Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve and is able to use trending transition and sound design to enhance storytelling
• Work closely with our global marketing team to turn campaign ideas into scroll-stopping content
• Tailor content for multiple regions and languages especially MENA, APAC, and LatAm with the help of our localization teams
• Stay on top of trends in finance and social media to help us always show up fresh and relevant
• Create eye-catching 2D graphics, icons, and infographics to support organic social and paid campaigns
• Ensure everything you make aligns with our brand, voice, and regional compliance requirements - Providing monthly reports on what went well, and future strategies based on data to keep us moving forward
• Bring your own ideas to the table, and take initiativethis role gives you the freedom to experiment and grow fast

Skills & Competencies

• Proven ability to shoot using mirrorless cameras (Sony FX3/A7 series, Canon R series, etc.)
• Confident in fast-turnaround editing with tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects or Davinci Resolve etc.
• A creative mindset with strong attention to detail and a sense of what makes content click across different channels
• Comfortable creating for different cultures and platforms
• A good grasp of tone, storytelling, and how to match visuals with messaging
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and time zones

Bonus points if:

• You've worked in or around finance, fintech, or fast-paced global brands.
• You can turn a dull market update into a trending video.
• You're the first in your group chat to spot the next social trend!
• You have experience with light VFX (transitions, masking, tracking, clean effects that enhance storytelling)
• Fluent in Arabic and English
