Job Description

Responsibilities

Development Tooling & Automation:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable build and packaging systems (e.g., using technologies like CMake and Conan).
Develop and support tools, plugins, and extensions for IDEs (e.g., VS Code) to improve developer workflows.
Automate various aspects of the development, build, and release processes.

CI/CD And Infrastructure

Administer and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins or similar tools).
Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs to support the development infrastructure.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure the reliability of the development toolchain.

Innovation And Support

Collaborate with software teams to identify pain points and deliver effective tooling solutions.
Investigate and integrate modern technologies, including AI-based approaches, to innovate and improve development processes.
Provide documentation and support to engineering teams for all managed tools and systems.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development environment.

Education/Training

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Professional Experience

1-3 years in software or tooling engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.

Proven experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Groovy).

Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile principles.
