About the Role
As a QA Tester / Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and usability of our platform.
You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to validate new features, identify issues early in the development cycle, and help maintain high standards for software quality.
This role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering reliable products that provide an exceptional user experience.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on product requirements and acceptance criteria
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools such as Jira
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing on web applications and APIs
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage
- Validate new features, bug fixes, and enhancements before release
- Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test strategies, and test documentation
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior across devices
- Support the implementation of automated testing where applicable
- Work closely with the development team to reproduce issues and verify fixes
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and agile development activities
- Continuously improve testing processes and quality standards within the team
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from a reputable university (Must Have)
- 2+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or QA Testing
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes
- Experience writing and executing test cases and test scenarios
- Experience using bug tracking tools such as Jira or similar systems
- Experience testing web applications and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
- Knowledge of cross-browser testing and responsive design validation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Experience with Git workflows and collaboration with development teams
Bonus:
- Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing environments
- Experience working on SaaS platforms or enterprise applications
