Overview
A Software Sales Agent is responsible for selling software solutions (SaaS, ERP, CRM, or mobile applications) by identifying customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and closing deals while building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and follow up on sales leads
- Present and demonstrate software solutions to potential clients
- Understand client business needs and recommend suitable products
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms
- Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly targets
- Maintain and update customer data using CRM tools
- Provide post-sale support and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements & Skills
- 13+ years of experience in software or technology sales
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Basic understanding of software solutions (SaaS/ERP/CRM)
- Goal-oriented with a strong sales mindset
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
