Overview

A Software Sales Agent is responsible for selling software solutions (SaaS, ERP, CRM, or mobile applications) by identifying customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and closing deals while building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and follow up on sales leads
  • Present and demonstrate software solutions to potential clients
  • Understand client business needs and recommend suitable products
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms
  • Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly targets
  • Maintain and update customer data using CRM tools
  • Provide post-sale support and ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements & Skills

  • 13+ years of experience in software or technology sales
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of software solutions (SaaS/ERP/CRM)
  • Goal-oriented with a strong sales mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
