Job Title:Software Tester Intern
Duration:4-month Internship Program, leading to a 2-year Full-Time Employment Program upon successful completion
Role Overview:As a Software Tester Intern, you will work closely with our QA and Development teams to ensure our software products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience and, upon successful completion, offers a clear path to a 2-year full-time employment opportunity with us.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and test plans.
- Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using project management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve defects.
- Support regression testing, functional testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and sprint reviews.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve user experience and product quality.
Requirements:- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:- Exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.
Program Path:- Phase 1: 4-month Internship Gain practical experience and build foundational skills in software testing.
- Phase 2: Upon successful completion and evaluation, transition into a 2-year Full-Time Program as a Software Tester, with ongoing professional development and career growth opportunities.
