We're looking for a Software Test Engineer to join a Well-known Islamic Bank in Egypt. The ideal candidate will ensure product quality across mobile apps, APIs, and internet banking platforms through rigorous testing practices and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Your expertise in both manual and automated testing will be key to identifying bugs early and improving user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of SDLC and STLC to design and execute effective test strategies
- Perform various testing types: functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT
- Utilize black-box, white-box, and grey-box methodologies to validate systems thoroughly
- Design and manage test cases using tools like JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, and Quality Center (ALM)
- Use SQL to query and validate data, ensuring backend accuracy
- Create clear and actionable bug reports and follow through on issue resolution
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to align testing with business goals
- Organize test cycles, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in Agile/Scrum environments
- Contribute to continuous improvement in QA practices, bringing fresh ideas and insights
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on testing experience
- Domain expertise in mobile applications, APIs, and internet banking platforms
- Proven experience in both Manual and Automation Testing
- At least one of the following certifications:
ISTQB Foundation Level (or higher)
Certified Software Tester (CSTE)
