I'm currently supporting a leading renewable energy business that is looking to add an experienced Solar PV Operations & Maintenance Specialist to its team.
The Role
You'll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of a distributed solar PV portfolio, combining on-site technical work with performance monitoring and contractor oversight.
Key elements of the role include:
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Site inspections, fault diagnosis, and corrective actions
- Coordination and supervision of third-party service providers
- Reviewing monitoring data (SCADA/inverters/meters) to support availability and energy yield
- Maintaining accurate maintenance and operational records
- Supporting commissioning, handover, and warranty-related activities
What I'm Looking For
- Degree or technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or similar
- 3+ years experience in solar PV O&M or electrical asset operations
- Strong hands-on electrical and fault-finding capability
- Experience working with monitoring systems and technical drawings
- Comfortable working across multiple sites and travelling as required
- Knowledge of grid standards, IEC requirements, or regional regulations
