Solidworks / AutoCAD Draughstman
( Based out of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia )
We are looking for a number of experienced 3D Event & Exhibition designers with expert level skills in Solidworks AutoCAD and Sketchup with a minimum of 5 years solid experience in design for event-specific projects to join our in-house Scenic Design Team.
We are looking for strong candidates for the following role:
- Expert-level skills in Solidworks / AutoCAD / Sketchup
- Knowledge of producing detailed construction drawings
- Impeccable drawing / project management and workflow skills
- Experience in design for event-specific requirements
- Fluent in written and spoken English, fluency in Arabic is a plus
The correct candidate must be able to:
- Comprehend and respond clearly and intelligently to a design brief
- Ensure accurate time management and meet assigned deadlines
- Work constructively as part of a team or act as a lead draughtsman on a project-specific basis to produce all required construction drawings
- Show a clear ability to think in design and construction / fabrication terms, brainstorm productively and intelligently, explain and visualise initial concepts and ideas, as well as troubleshoot and problem solve as required
