We are seeking an Expert Solution Architect (Arabic Speaker) to lead enterprise-wide technology architecture across applications, data, integrations, cloud, and security.
Arabic fluency is mandatory to support collaboration with Arabic-speaking stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and business teams.
The role is responsible for translating business objectives into scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, digital transformation goals, and industry standards. The architect will work closely with business leaders, project managers, and technical teams to design future-ready solutions that maximize business value and reduce delivery risks.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Architecture Leadership
- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture blueprint (applications, data, integrations, cloud).
- Lead solution design for major business initiatives, ensuring alignment with digital and IT strategies.
- Develop high-level and detailed solution architectures including functional, technical, and integration viewpoints.
- Ensure solutions leverage modern architectures (microservices, API-driven, event-driven, cloud-native).
2. Business & Technology Alignment
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural deliverables.
- Conduct impact assessments, feasibility studies, and gap analyses.
- Advise business units on technology capabilities, constraints, and optimal solution approaches.
3. Technical Governance
- Review and approve architecture artifacts from vendors and internal teams.
- Ensure alignment with cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, NIST, DESC), data governance, and AI governance frameworks.
- Establish and maintain enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and principles.
4. Solution Design & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end solution designs across:
- Application Architecture
- Data Architecture (Analytics, MDM, Data Governance)
- Integration & API Architecture
- Cloud & Security Architecture
- Guide development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Conduct technical risk assessments and define mitigation strategies.
5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Assess technology vendors during RFPs and procurement cycles.
- Ensure vendor solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards and KPIs.
- Act as a primary technical liaison between internal teams and external partners.
6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify modernization opportunities (legacy transformation, cloud migration, AI/ML integration).
- Promote adoption of emerging technologies to enhance business value.
- Support capability building and knowledge-sharing across the architecture community.
Requirements
Qualification and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum Experience/Skills Required:
10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in architecture roles.
Strong background in designing enterprise-scale solutions within large or complex organizations.
Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP in hybrid environments.
Experience with microservices, APIs, DevOps, data platforms, integration middleware, and enterprise security.
Exepreince with Enterprise architecture frameworks.
Experience in Integration patterns (REST, SOAP, messaging, ESB, iPaaS), Cloud architecture (compute, storage, networking, APIs, security) and Data architecture (data lakes, DW, governance, MDM).
Familiarity with AI/ML and automation technologies.
Certifications (Preferred / Highly Valued)
- TOGAF / Zachman / SAFe Architecture
- Azure/AWS/GCP Architect Certification
- ITIL v4 Foundation or higher
- CISSP / CISM (for security-focused roles)
- PMP / PRINCE2 (advantage).
