Job Description

Job Summary:

To provide culinary support and assistance for the CATRION Culinary Academy.

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Assist Director, Assistant Manager and/or Instructors with daily tasks and requirements.
  • Provide support as requested for Academy classes, programs, events, and activities.
  • Assist Director and Instructors with program logistics and delivery.
  • Communicate with program participants as requested by Director or designate.
  • Communicate and support logistics for guest chefs, lecturers, and visitors to Academy.
  • Assist Director with inventory management, stock rotation, product sourcing and scheduling.
  • Place orders on UCAS System as requested by Director.
  • Prepare food items for events, guest chefs or instructors.
  • Maintain and/or ensure maintenance of all large and small equipment.
  • Supervise daily, weekly and monthly cleaning programs are adhered to.
  • Oversee culinary team of chef de parties, public attendants and/or personnel as requested by Director.
  • Complete educational courses and training as requested by Director.
  • Provide translation support verbally and written as requested by Director if applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in food science or equivalent degree.
  • 4- 5 Years of experience minimum 3 of them working in the same field.
  • Ability to multitask and detail oriented & time management skills.
  • Excellent organization skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Can work under pressure especially in demanding environment. Able to plan and execute on a given deadline.
  • Excellent team player and supports team building. Good knowledge in planning and scheduling. Resourcefulness, detail-oriented, anticipates needs. Commitment to the mission.
  • Able to show good leadership to the employees/staff.
