A prestigious private hospitality environment is seeking an experienced Sous Chef with strong expertise in Asian and International cuisine to join an elite culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in planning and executing menus reflecting refined tastes, cultural preferences, and international standards
- Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, hygiene, and food safety at all times
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure excellence in taste, texture, and visual appeal
- Assist with menu development, recipe creation, and culinary innovation while respecting tradition
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control, ensuring efficiency and minimal waste
- Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen environment
- Coordinate closely with operations teams for special events, private functions, and VIP service
- Stay current with culinary trends, techniques, and premium ingredient sourcing
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a 5-star hotel, luxury hospitality, or high-end private environment
- Strong, hands-on expertise in Asian and International cuisine
- Confident kitchen leader with the ability to manage teams calmly under pressure
- High attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality
- Professional communication skills and respectful working style
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and peak service periods
- Culinary qualification or recognised professional training preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices
- Experience in prestigious or private settings is an advantage, but not mandatory
