Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of surgical procedures on patients with heart conditions, including coronary artery bypass grafts and valve surgeries
  • Assess patients medical histories, conduct thorough evaluations, and determine appropriate surgical interventions
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure quality perioperative care
  • Monitor patients throughout their post-operative recovery and manage any arising complications
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment choices, surgery details, and post-operative care plans
  • Maintain meticulous medical documentation and records throughout the surgical process
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiac surgery to incorporate best practices into patient care

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution specializing in Cardiac Surgery
  • Board certification in Cardiac Surgery
  • Valid medical license to practice in the Gulf region
  • Significant experience performing cardiac surgical procedures in a hospital or clinical environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of cardiac anatomy, surgery techniques, and postoperative care
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate within a team
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and provide expert care to diverse patient populations
