Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures on patients with heart conditions, including coronary artery bypass grafts and valve surgeries
- Assess patients medical histories, conduct thorough evaluations, and determine appropriate surgical interventions
- Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure quality perioperative care
- Monitor patients throughout their post-operative recovery and manage any arising complications
- Educate patients and their families on treatment choices, surgery details, and post-operative care plans
- Maintain meticulous medical documentation and records throughout the surgical process
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiac surgery to incorporate best practices into patient care
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution specializing in Cardiac Surgery
- Board certification in Cardiac Surgery
- Valid medical license to practice in the Gulf region
- Significant experience performing cardiac surgical procedures in a hospital or clinical environment
- Comprehensive understanding of cardiac anatomy, surgery techniques, and postoperative care
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate within a team
