Execute the Companyu2019s external communication activities to create, promote, enhance, and protect the u201Cvoiceu201D, image and brand of the Company by bringing to life the brand promise through multiple channels, events, communication vehicles, and through community relations efforts.u00A0

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

External Communicationsu00A0
Provide input in the Companyu2019s external communication strategy and implement the Companyu2019s external communication strategy to achieve company objectives.u00A0
Enable the effective utilization of external messages across Group external channels, media and events.u00A0
Seek out Company stories and pitch communications content to ADNOC HQ (i.e. for press releases, social media, exhibition and event inclusion, etc.).u00A0
Monitor the Companyu2019s external media coverage across all channels, flag concerns and suggest improvement measures.u00A0u00A0
Organize media gatherings, forums and press conferences for special exhibitions and events in coordination with the ADNOC Group of Companies to meet the Companyu2019s objectives.u00A0
Maintain professional and positive media relations.u00A0
Develop specialized business content and contribute in the development of messages, content and narratives for external use, focused on the Companyu2019s business activities and achievements.u00A0
Support Group Communications to address media inquiries in liaison with ADNOC Downstream Communications.u00A0u00A0
Provide input/ support in the speaking engagement preparation for company spokesperson and executives, conferences and exhibitions.u00A0
Contribute in maintaining and updating emergency communication response plans and participate in regular training and drills.u00A0
Facilitate required approvals for external speaking engagements from Group Communications.u00A0u00A0
Review and comment on graphics for the web, print and multimedia projects for modifications or enhancements.u00A0
Review captions, titles, advertisements, materials for exhibitions, audio u2013 visual programs and presentations as assigned to ensure correctness.u00A0
Keep records of success metrics & reporting (ROI).u00A0
Propose initiatives for the improvement of external communication to strengthen our Companyu2019s and Groupu2019s reputation and image.u00A0
Supervisionu00A0
Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.u00A0
Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective functional objectives.u00A0

Provide input for preparation of the functional budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver functional objectives.u00A0u00A0
Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost controlu00A0

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Bachelor Degree in Communications or Public Relations or equivalent professional qualification.u00A0u00A0
Good working knowledge in editing and translation activities for companyu2019s publications.u00A0
Extensive understanding about creating and reviewing advertisements, articles, press releases.u00A0
Ability to deliver excellent quality content for companyu2019s publications.u00A0
Well versed in writing, editing and conversing.u00A0
Planning and organising, scheduling and coordinating, checking, examining and recording.u00A0
Knowledgeable about UAE laws and regulations, as well as local customs and protocol.u00A0
