Job Responsibility
- Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the general ledger, ensuring compliance with IFRS.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Responsible for consolidating the payable, receivable, inventory, and other payables and receivable data for net working capital presentation.
- Lead the budgeting process by coordinating inputs from various departments and analyzing financial projections.
- Update financial models and budget allocations, utilizations and generate necessary variance reports, cost reports and analysis reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting and accounting practices.
- Support the implementation of new accounting systems or tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external auditors by providing the required information and ensuring the open audit points are closed as per the agreed timelines.
- Perform month-end account closing activities and reconciliations by assisting the finance team to ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing within the timeframe communicated by the group finance.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic planning.
- Support decision-making processes by providing comprehensive analysis of financial data and forecasts.
- Analyze the variances in accounts and provide business commentary and rationale substantiating the movements.
- Any additional tasks or responsibilities related to the role may be requested by the line manager as required.
Desired Qualifications & Experience :
- Bachelor's Degree in in Accounting, Finance or related Field. Masters or MBA Preferred
- Professional certification such as CA,CPA, CMA, or ACCA is preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on project analysis in health care industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles IFRS and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
