Role Purpose:The position is responsible for assisting the Manager Mall Promotions & Media (MPM) in promoting, implementing and monitoring an ongoing revenue generating program in the assigned SMBU operating assets.
Role Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:- Achieve or exceed the promotions & media revenue targets set by the Mall Promotions & Media Manager for specified category in the assigned operating assets.
- Follow designated workflow and procedures established to undertake MPM activities / deals in the assigned category and liaise closely with the Manager MPM requiring involvement in execution of deals beyond limits.
- Prospect and negotiate with third party for generating revenue and media plans for the assigned operating assets. This includes increase in category penetration and ensuring inclusion of new clients in accordance with the set targets.
- Liaise with the concerned departments in SMBU e.g. Property Management and Finance etc., on the implementation of MPM.
- Uphold design and quality standards in delivery of promotion and branding and ensure that all related activities are carried out as per specified criteria and service standards.
- Prepare all necessary documentations (including but not limited to proposals, license agreements, letters) to ensure that MAFP is properly represented in the event of any default, either monetary or non-monetary.
- Prepare regular individual weekly and monthly report outlining the amount and source of revenue from all commercial clients in addition to maintaining a proper filing procedure to record all deal related correspondence.
- Assist the Manager MPM in identifying and developing new business opportunities that can be converted into source of revenue for the SMBU assigned operating assets.
- Provide all necessary data / reports on a periodic basis pertaining to marketing activities to the Mall Manager Promotions & Media for review, resolutions of issues and prompt decision making.
- Ensure compliance with the MAFP SMBU's Code of Conduct, Departmental policies and HC Policies and Procedures at all times.
- Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the MAFP values across SMBU and ensure that it is adhered to and exhibit the same all the time.
Personal Characteristics and Required Background:Minimum Qualifications/education- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Marketing or equivalent.
Minimum experience- Minimum 3 - 5 years work experience in sales role preferably in a reputed Retail / Marketing /Advertising companies in GCC or abroad.
