1. Job Purpose
The Specialized Data Operator is responsible for performing accurate and timely data entry, maintaining regulatory documentation, and updating operational systems to support the Engineering & Maintenance Division. The role ensures data integrity, compliance with aviation regulations, and system stability (AMOS), contributing to safe and efficient airline operations.
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Data Entry & System Management
Perform high-volume, accurate data entry into the AMOS system and other maintenance platforms
Update aircraft maintenance records, work orders, and component data
Ensure real-time system updates to support operational continuity
2.2 Technical Records Management
Maintain and organize technical records in compliance with aviation regulations
Ensure completeness, traceability, and accuracy of all documentation
Digitize and archive records as required
2.3 Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all entries meet regulatory standards (GACA/EASA/FAA as applicable)
Support audit readiness and documentation verification
Assist in resolving discrepancies in maintenance records
2.4 Cross-Department Support
Provide data and documentation support to:
Engineering
Maintenance Planning
Technical Records
Warehouse
Maintenance Control Center (MCC)
2.5 Data Quality & Reporting
Validate data accuracy and identify inconsistencies
Generate routine and ad-hoc reports
Support data cleansing and system improvements
3. Key Deliverables
Accurate and timely data entry into AMOS
Complete and compliant technical documentation
Updated maintenance and inventory records
Zero or minimal data discrepancies during audits
Continuous support to operational departments
4. Required Qualifications
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in:
Aviation Management
Engineering (Mechanical / Aeronautical preferred)
Information Systems or related field
Experience
13 years of experience in:
Data entry or data management
Aviation maintenance environment (preferred)
Experience with AMOS or similar MRO systems is highly desirable
5. Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
Proficiency in AMOS or similar ERP/MRO systems
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation
