Orange Child Development Centre is a multidisciplinary, ISO-certified pediatric therapy center providing a range of services including Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Behavioral Interventions, Special Education, and Physiotherapy. Our expert team works with children with autism, ADHD, sensory integration disorders, developmental delays, and other neuro-divergent conditions, offering early intervention and family-centered care in a child-friendly environment.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping children reach developmental milestones and gain independence in daily life. You'll be working as part of a collaborative team, providing customized, evidence-based intervention strategies for children aged 6 months to 16 years.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, social communication, and swallowing disorders in [Target Population, e.g., children/adults]. You will work closely with families and a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans that empower clients to communicate effectively and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests (e.g., REELS, PLS-5, WAB) and clinical observations to identify speech, language, and communication delays.
  • Diagnose disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Apraxia, Dysarthria, Stuttering, and Voice Disorders.
  • Write detailed diagnostic reports with clear long-term and short-term goals.

2. Therapeutic Intervention

  • Develop and implement evidence-based Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or therapy plans.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to the client's specific needs.
  • Introduce and train clients on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems when necessary.
  • Provide dysphagia (swallowing) therapy and feeding management if required.

3. Collaboration & Counseling

  • Parent/Caregiver Training: Educate families on home-based strategies to reinforce therapy goals outside the clinic.
  • Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Special Educators, and Pediatricians to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain regular communication with teachers or schools for school-aged clients.

4. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR), including daily session notes (SOAP notes) and progress reports.
  • Adhere to all ethical guidelines and standards set by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's (BASLP) or Master's (MASLP) in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university.

Licensure:

  • SCFHS Licensed

Experience:

  • 1 years of clinical experience is preferred (Freshers with strong internship experience may apply).
  • Experience with [Specific Focus, e.g., Pediatric Neuro-rehabilitation / Early Intervention] is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Clinical Reasoning: Ability to troubleshoot when a client hits a plateau (as discussed in problem-solving scenarios).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (fluency in Arabic is an added advantage).
  • Patience & Empathy: Ability to manage behavioral challenges and build rapport with clients.
