Job Title: Sports Equipment Mechatronics Technician

Job Summary:

A Sports Equipment Mechatronics Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing modern sports and fitness equipment that integrates mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. This includes smart gym machines, performance monitoring systems, and connected fitness devices to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain, repair, and optimize sports equipment (e.g., treadmills, bikes, gym machines)

- Integrate mechanical, electrical systems.

- Troubleshoot issues and perform routine checks

- Collaborate with fitness staff and management.

- Preventive maintenance and day to day services.

Required Skills:

Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (motors, belts, hydraulics)

Experience with electrical systems and circuit troubleshooting

Familiarity with sensors, actuators, and control systems

Basic understanding of PLCs or embedded systems

Ability to read technical manuals and schematics

Hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills

Qualifications:

Diploma/Certificate in Mechatronics or a related field.
