- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server database environments.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.
- Plan, implement, and validate database backup and recovery strategies (including HA and Always On).
- Ensure high availability, security, and integrity of databases.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design efficient database structures, schemas, and SQL queries.
- Diagnose and resolve database-related issues such as configuration errors, connectivity problems, and data inconsistencies.
Requirements
- +2 years of proven experience as a Database Administrator (SQL Server).
- Solid knowledge of database architecture, performance tuning, and high availability concepts.
- Experience with database backup/recovery strategies.
- Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
