Primary Purpose Of The Job
The Senior Economic Analyst will lead and contribute to analytical, planning, and performance assessment activities within the Marketing Directorate. This role encompasses responsibilities in budget control, market forecasting, strategic planning, and corporate governance. The primary focus will be on markets for petroleum, petrochemical, and polymer products. Reporting directly to the Head of Planning & Performance, the Senior Economic Analyst will play a key role in supporting the team's objectives and ensuring alignment with the directorate's strategic goals.
Required Experience And Skills
- At least 10 years of experience in a technical, or commercial role within the oil and gas, petroleum, oil refining, or petrochemicals industries.
- Has an understanding of the market trends, key participants, long-term growth drivers and challenges of the above stated industries.
- Demonstrated abilities in economic analyses, financial assessments, project investment analyses.
Educational Qualifications
A degree in engineering (preferably Chemical engineering), or economics, or computational science.
