Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a Senior Engineer. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring work aligns with design specifications and projects are completed on schedule. Primary duties include project planning, supervising construction activities, coordinating with project teams, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and resolving any technical issues that arise during the construction process. Additionally, the role involves providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in project planning, construction management, and site supervision
- Strong technical knowledge in civil engineering, structural principles, and material properties
- Experience in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Proficient in using engineering software and tools for project design and analysis
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities during on-site operations
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- Prior experience working on large-scale construction projects, preferably in the Middle East
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and safety standards in the UAE
