Primary Purpose Of The Job
Focus on commercial management of existing long-term regas commitments and developing new and complimentary downstream structured positions with third parties to improve and grow QETs gas portfolio.
Required Experience And Skills
- Minimum 20 years work experience within a mid-stream commercial related discipline in the natural gas sector, including experience in gas origination, contract management or asset development, with a proven track of generating sustainable value.
- Expert commercial acumen and comprehensive industry knowledge across LNG, European gas markets
- Advanced negotiation skills, enabling identification, development and successful closure of commercial opportunities.
- Demonstrated success in all stages of commercial deal making, from initial identification through to final delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, adept at managing diverse relationships at various levels and working across cultures.
- Proven ability to comprehend, structure, and articulate complex deal structures, showcasing a deep understanding of commercial value drivers and a ability to appropriately challenge conventions to achieve positive outcomes.
- Thorough understanding of evolving of relevant market fundamentals, deal economics, risks, and pricing mechanisms, with the capability to facilitate in-depth analysis by collaborating with relevant teams.
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting effective business cases to Senior Management, fostering productive discussions and decision-making.
- Self-motivated with proven resilience and adaptable mindset.
- Expert knowledge of risks and potential mitigants, as they relate to key aspects of the European gas market.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor degree in relevant subject from an internationally recognized university. Postgraduate Qualification (MSc. or MBA) preferred.
