The Opportunity - Sr Regional Financial Analyst MEAP

This position works out of UAE office in the Abbott Nutrition Division.

What You'll Do-

  • Consolidate and submit forecasts and RLBE3 summaries with supporting documentation.

  • Track and analyze actuals vs. goals, budgets, and benchmarks.

  • Prepare periodic internal financial reports with clear, actionable insights. Ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial submissions with concise commentary.

  • Conduct detailed analysis of Sales, SG&A, and GTN work with affiliates to identify and implement opportunities.

  • Enforce financial controls in line with Abbott's compliance and policy standards.

  • Monitor internal controls, conduct audit sampling, and flag key risk areas. Deliver business analytics to support growth initiatives and strategic planning.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline financial processes.

  • Prepare management reports highlighting risks, opportunities, and contingency plans. Review accruals and coordinate with CFS/ALOG for accurate month-end close.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with atleast 5-6 years of relevant FP&A experience in pharma/healthcare segment

  • Analytical skills to digest and quickly grasp substantial amounts of data, and to recognize key issues / opportunities and act accordingly.

  • Demonstrated responsibility for adhering to all local laws and with full compliance of Pharma policies/procedures

  • Cost conscious mentality with an ability to drive change cross culturally and implement with speed.

  • Broad knowledge and ability to handle broad distributorship networks, challenges and varying sourcing models.

  • Ability to manage financial ERP systems across but not limited to full functional finance scope of operation.
