About The Role
Job Summary
Responsible for the coordination and functional management of the sales activity needs of the Company's customers in order to meet the objectives of the company's overall business plans and strategies
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as main contact for all sales related activities in nominated countries
- Support the Sales Manager with the development plan and support the establishment of both annual and monthly sales budgets and objectives
- Responsibility for coordinating the specific objectives of the Sales Plan with regards to the assigned functional area, liaising with relevant departments of the company
- Establishment of both market and target customer strategies for the Company.
- Ensure that effective client contact, relationship building and management processes are in place to positively influence the client and create a pre-disposition to view Sulzer as the preferred source of supply
- Maintain knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors and leading customer strategies, especially in relation to international business
- Ensure application of Sulzer sales and commercial policies, procedures, codes of conduct and best practice guidelines
- Review tenders and support overall tender process
- Ensure that handover meetings and documentation are effective and result in a smooth transition
- Maintain Open Tender Database, ensuring that SSPC sales forecast and best prospect lists are provided to schedule
- Attendance sales meetings and ensure that all relevant information from assigned area is available for the sales team
- Participate in and actively support company initiatives
- Familiar with the environmental aspects and impacts of the activities and processes involved in the role and the procedures, practices and measures to manage the impact.
- Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risks.
- All other duties as relevant to the post
Qualifications / Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent Relevant experience within related industry
- Experience of implementing sales strategy
- Knowledge of sales
