Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in financial services, extensive exposure to the Gulf region, and deep expertise in enterprise architecture, integration, cloud, and middleware technologies.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions, while working closely with business and technical stakeholders across large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and lead end-to-end solution architecture for large-scale banking and financial systems

Define high-level and detailed architecture models covering application, integration, data, and infrastructure layers

Lead architecture decisions for core banking, payments, digital channels, APIs, and integration platforms

Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions

Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security, scalability, and performance requirements

Drive and govern API-led and microservices-based architectures

Oversee solution delivery across the full SDLC, ensuring quality, timelines, and architectural compliance

Participate in architecture reviews, technical governance, and stakeholder presentations

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

15+ years of experience in solution architecture and enterprise systems design

Strong banking domain experience (core banking, payments, digital banking, financial platforms)

Proven experience working in the Gulf region (KSA / GCC)

Deep expertise in:

Enterprise Integration & Middleware

API Management & API Security

Microservices Architecture

Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure)

Strong understanding of enterprise-level distributed systems

Experience working with multi-tier, high-availability, and mission-critical systems

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Certifications (Mandatory / Strongly Preferred)

TOGAF 9.2 Certified (Foundation or above)

Azure Certified

API Design & API Security Certifications

Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AI or Cloud)
