Job Description

For DP World Sokhna Logistics Park

Job Purpose: Oversee and manage control room operations, ensuring effective monitoring of site activities, compliance with security policies, and optimal performance of all technical security systems.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Ensure implementation of DP World Sokhna Logistics Park (SLP) security regulations.
  • Assist the Security Assistant Manager in overseeing all aspects of security systems and ensuring their effectiveness.
  • Maintain the control room and all equipment in serviceable condition; ensure faults are permanently remedied.
  • Engage team members to align with business goals and objectives.
  • Supervise and direct staff to prioritize tasks and review work progress.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous feedback.
  • Coordinate staff scheduling to ensure proper operational coverage.
  • Train new employees and identify ongoing training needs; ensure team members have the necessary education and skills.
  • Monitor team performance continuously, resolve challenges, and drive optimum results.
  • Supervise technical maintenance of security equipment and tools, including CCTV, access control systems, and X-ray devices.
  • Prepare and submit required reports using all relevant work-related information.
  • Ensure risk assessments are conducted and actioned in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Motivate and inspire team members, fostering creativity and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular briefings to update the team on new information and operational priorities.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and collaboration across the team.
  • Monitor progress and timelines of security system upgrades to ensure projects remain on track.

Qualifications & Certificates

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Experience & Knowledge

  • 710 years of experience in security operations, preferably within maritime or logistics environments.
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response protocols.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong command of English (spoken and written).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High ethical standards: honesty, integrity, respect for human rights, and compliance with legal guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to motivate diverse teams and manage operations under pressure.
