Staff Engineer, NPA Cloud Backend

What you will be doing

• Evaluate and utilize emerging technologies to build a high-performance and scalable system.
• Work with other engineering teams and product management to understand and define requirements.
• Develop various services and drive design discussions, publish usage wikis for engineering, develop, deploy, and maintain the services.
• Work with Support, Application Development, and Product Management teams to develop, maintain, and scale the services.

Required skills and experience

• 8+ years of experience developing products for the enterprise market.
• Architecture and design of large projects.
• Programming expertise in Golang/Python.
• Experience in Databases and Security.
• Experience with HTTP, Browser knowledge, Forward/Reverse proxy.
• Experience with User authentication, user credential management, and vault integration.
• Experience with Guacamole.
• Experience building scalable cloud solutions.
• Experience with developing APIs.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
• Experience in designing and building distributed systems including integration with Kafka, Pubsub, distributed databases, in-mem cache.
• Experience or exposure in test-driven development.
• Strong analytical, programming, and troubleshooting skills.

Education

• BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred.
