Qualifications:- Minimum 8 years on slitting lines.
- Industrial Diploma preferred.
- English proficiency preferred.
- Clear communication.
- Attention to detail.
- Proven teamwork, problem solving and drive for continuous improvement.
Task Description:- Operates precision slitting of steel coils.
- Execute blade changeovers and maintain correct tension settings.
- Load/unload coils and manage end-shearing operations.
- Perform in-line quality checks segregate and minimize scrap.
- Conduct routine maintenance to prevent unplanned stops.
- Achieve target line speeds keep scrap rates as low as possible.
- Maintain downtown within agreed limits.
Equipment & Materials:- Double head slitter handling hot rolled, cold rolled, galvanized steel and aluminum.
- Coil thickness: 0.30-6.00 mm, input width: 100 1600 mm, min slit width: 32 mm.
- Max coil weight: 30 MT, max diameter: 2.2 m.
