About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Steward - Culinary to join Jumeirah Muscat Bay.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Clean and maintain dishes, utensils, and operating equipment in all F&B outlets, ensuring full compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.

  • Prepare banquet operating equipment by counting, sorting, and organizing items to ensure smooth and timely event setup.

  • Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils to a high standard, ensuring cleanliness, proper handling, and minimizing breakage or loss.

  • Sanitize machinery and equipment as per established hygiene procedures to prevent contamination and maintain safe working conditions.

  • Follow strict personal hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards at all times, including wearing the prescribed uniform and name badge.

  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment by staying vigilant, reporting any damages or suspicious circumstances, supporting teamwork, attending trainings/briefings, and cooperating with other departments as required.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Secondary School Certificate Higher Secondary School Certificate is an added advantage.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and practical approach.

  • Good leadership, team coordination, and project management abilities.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role or capacity, with strong attention to detail.
