The Role

As a Steward, your role is to serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring the cleanliness and condition of our back of house areas, kitchens and operating equipment is of a high standard.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As a Steward, you will need to:

• Responsible for safely storing, handling, and using chemicals safely to prevent misuse and protect oneself and colleagues.
• Ensure all personnel use necessary safety equipment such as gloves, boots, goggles, masks, or hats correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces, areas, and operational equipment within the stewarding department to uphold hotel hygiene standards.
• Empty and sanitize waste bins and surrounding areas as needed based on the schedule.
• Maintain clear exit areas consistently.
• Keep dishwashing areas and equipment clean at all times and coordinate with engineering for maintenance.
• Play a proactive and influential role in the energy-conservation and environmental policies and practices of the hotel.
• Perform any additional duties as required for operational smoothness.
