Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Stewarding Supervisor to oversee daily stewarding operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across kitchens and back-of-house areas. The role supports smooth kitchen operations while ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily stewarding operations across kitchens and F&B outlets
  • Allocate tasks and manage stewarding staff duty rosters
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchens, equipment, and BOH areas
  • Monitor dishwashing operations during service periods
  • Enforce hygiene, HACCP, and safety standards at all times
  • Train stewards on cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and safety practices
  • Coordinate with Chefs and F&B teams to support operational requirements
  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and raise requisitions as required
  • Ensure proper waste management and recycling procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections and report any hygiene or safety concerns

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Stewarding Supervisor or Senior Steward
  • Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards
  • Experience supervising teams in a hotel or large restaurant environment
  • Good communication skills in English (additional languages an advantage)
  • Physically fit and able to work flexible shifts
  • Familiarity with UAE food safety regulations preferred
  • Strong organizational and team leadership skills
