Storage (SAN, NAS, ECS) L3
**Role Summary:** Own L3-level operations for Storage (SAN, NAS, ECS) within a highly regulated banking estate, ensuring availability, performance, security, audit readiness, and rapid recovery as per RTO/RPO.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide L3-level support for Storage (SAN, NAS, ECS) in a mission-critical banking environment.
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, SWIFT, and local banking regulator requirements.
- Operate under ITIL processes (Incident/Change/Problem/Knowledge).
- Maintain high availability, performance, and security; participate in DR/BCP drills.
- Perform daily health checks, monitoring, and routine tasks using standard runbooks.
- Acknowledge and triage alerts; log and update tickets (ServiceNow/BMC) with accurate data.
- Execute backups/restores or routine jobs under change and supervision.
**Required Tools & Technologies:**
- Dell EMC Unisphere/PowerStore/Powermax, NetApp ONTAP/System Manager, HPE 3PAR/Primera SSMC
- SAN switch tools: Brocade Network Advisor, Cisco DCNM
- Object storage (ECS) admin consoles & S3-compatible tooling
- Monitoring: OEM vendor dashboards, Grafana/Prometheus, Nagios/Zabbix
**Relevant Certifications:**
- Dell/EMC, NetApp, HPE storage certifications (associate/professional)
- Brocade/Cisco SAN certs; AWS S3/Object Storage fundamentals (nice-to-have)
- ITIL Foundation
**Experience Requirements:**
- 12 years in platform operations/support in regulated environments (banking preferred).

- Evidence-driven troubleshooting; strong documentation and runbook hygiene.
- Ownership mindset with 24x7 support readiness and on-call rotation participation.
