Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our toy retail shop. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing daily operations, and creating a fun, engaging shopping experience for children and families. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for toys, retail expertise, and the ability to inspire a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Store Leadership & Operations:

-Oversee all aspects of store operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.

-Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.

-Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock control to minimize shrinkage.

-Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained to enhance customer appeal.

-Handle opening/closing procedures, cash management, and financial reporting.

Sales & Customer Experience:

-Resolve escalated customer issues with professionalism and care.

-Monitor sales trends and adjust strategies to maximize performance.

-Plan and execute in-store promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns.

Team Management & Development:

-selection, train, and supervise staff, including Assistant Managers and Sales Associates.

-Create staff schedules and conduct performance reviews.

-Motivate and mentor employees to achieve sales goals and career growth.

-Maintain a positive, energetic, and inclusive work environment.

Business Administration & Compliance:

-Analyze sales reports and KPIs to drive business decisions.

-Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and labor laws.

Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and corporate offices as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience:

-5+ years in retail management, preferably in toys, children's products and stationery

-Proven track record of meeting sales targets.

Skills:

-Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities.

-Excellent business acumen with proficiency in retail software (POS, inventory systems).

-Creative merchandising and promotional planning skills.
