Job Description

The Store Supervisor / Senior Sales Executive for a prestigious watch store will be responsible for managing store operations, driving sales, and delivering a premium customer experience. This individual will lead a team, maintain high standards of product presentation, ensure inventory control, and foster an environment where luxury watch customers feel valued and well-served. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with customers, offering expert guidance on luxury timepieces, and ensuring store targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Target Achievement:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets for the store, with a strong focus on high value watches and premium collections.
  • Implement effective sales strategies to enhance both individual and team performance.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of luxury watches to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Deliver world-class customer service tailored to the luxury watch market, ensuring that customers feel valued and receive personalized service.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers regarding the technical aspects, history, and uniqueness of different watch brands.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently, ensuring a positive experience in-store.

Team Supervision & Training:

  • Supervise and motivate the sales team to consistently perform at a high level.
  • Train staff on the features, benefits, and selling points of various watch collections, as well as luxury sales techniques.
  • Organize regular product knowledge sessions and ensure the team is up to date on new arrivals, watch trends, and industry news.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee the inventory of luxury watches, ensuring accurate stock levels and preventing discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to manage the supply chain and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Conduct regular stock audits, manage product displays, and ensure proper rotation of high-end products.

Visual Merchandising:

  • Ensure the store's visual presentation aligns with the brand's high standards, creating an inviting atmosphere that highlights luxury watches.
  • Ensure all displays are properly maintained, featuring the latest watch models, seasonal promotions, and exclusive collections.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Oversee the store's daily operations, ensuring smooth workflows, operational effectiveness, and that the store adheres to company policies.
  • Monitor store expenses, aiming to achieve profitability while keeping costs in check.
  • Ensure the store environment maintains safety, cleanliness, and high aesthetic standards.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, inventory status, and other key metrics to the management team.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, customer preferences, and sales data.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous experience in luxury retail, preferably in watches or high-end products.
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the luxury watch industry or related field.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex product details in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of luxury watch brands, craftsmanship, and features.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Passion for watches and the luxury industry.
  • Experience in managing high-value inventory and making recommendations on stocking.
  • Ability to create and maintain strong customer relationships and loyalty.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and retail management software.
