Job Description

The Strapi Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance content management solutions using Strapi CMS. The role involves customizing CMS architecture, building APIs, integrating with front-end and third-party systems, and collaborating closely with architects and product owners to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop baseline architecture for Strapi CMS implementations.
  • Customize and configure Strapi CMS, including content types, APIs, workflows, and permissions.
  • Build, expose, and integrate REST/GraphQL APIs for multiple channels and downstream systems.
  • Implement seamless integrations with front-end applications and third-party platforms.
  • Ensure CMS and APIs meet performance, security, and scalability standards.
  • Support deployment, configuration, and promotion across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and Product Owners to evaluate technical feasibility and propose optimal solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain Strapi-based applications throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Follow best practices in coding, documentation, and version control.

Requirements

  • Prior proven experience in website development and delivery using Strapi CMS.
  • Strong hands-on experience customizing Strapi (content models, APIs, plugins, workflows).
  • Experience building and integrating APIs for web, mobile, and enterprise systems.
  • Well-versed in agent-based coding / AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor)
  • Solid understanding of Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and headless CMS architecture.
  • Experience with deployment and environment configuration (Dev/Test/Prod).
  • Knowledge of security best practices for CMS platforms and APIs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with architects, POs, and developers.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
