Strategic Copywriter and Community Manager

Sumea Social is a boutique, full service LinkedIn and executive profiling agency working with ambitious founders, executives, and organisations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and internationally.

We help individuals and businesses build authority, shape perception, and create opportunities through strategy, content, media, and influence.

We are now looking for a Strategic Copywriter and Community Manager to support our client work across LinkedIn content, media pitching ideas, and community engagement.

The role

You will create high quality written content aligned with clear strategies, support thought leadership and media outreach, and manage engagement and conversations across LinkedIn.

What you will do

• Write LinkedIn content in line with established strategies for multiple clients
• Draft opinion articles, op eds, and long form pieces
• Develop fresh angles and ideas for media and podcast pitching
• Manage LinkedIn community engagement with thoughtfulness and relevance
• Respond to inbound DMs, including leads from ads, and help set up client calls
• Spot opportunities to advance client objectives and suggest them proactively
• Work closely with strategists and client leads

• A strong writer with excellent judgment and taste
• Comfortable with ambiguity, but enjoys creating structure
• Loyal to quality rather than ego
• Hard working, friendly, and reliable
• Has an eye for good content, trends, and what resonates
• Happy to work independently with little hand holding
• Curious, proactive, and ideas driven
• Comfortable in a startup environment where responsibilities evolve

Experience

• 3 to 6 years experience in copywriting, communications, PR, or content
• Excellent English writing skills
• Solid understanding of LinkedIn and online communities
• A Plus: Experience with opinion pieces or thought leadership content

Location and setup

This role is based in Dubai but does not require working from an office. You should be available to attend client meetings, photoshoots, recording sessions, or events when needed.
