Director Strategy & Business Transformation
Role Purpose
The Director of Strategy & Business Transformation is responsible for leading the development, execution, and governance of the organization's corporate strategy and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. The role ensures alignment between long-term vision, strategic objectives, and execution excellence, driving sustainable growth, profitability, and organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation of corporate and business unit strategies, including multi-year strategic plans, strategic priorities, KPIs, and initiative roadmaps.
- Oversee strategy execution through the Strategy Management Office (SMO), ensuring alignment across all functions and business units.
- Lead enterprise-wide business transformation programs, including operating model redesign, digital transformation, logistics and supply chain optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Establish and maintain strategic governance frameworks, performance management systems, and executive-level reporting.
- Drive value creation through profitability improvement, cash flow optimization, working capital management, and efficient capital allocation.
- Lead IPO readiness and strategic growth initiatives, including gap assessments and execution of improvement plans.
- Develop and oversee functional strategies such as eCommerce, sales and marketing, S&OP, customer experience, and organizational effectiveness.
- Champion organizational health, culture transformation, and change management programs to enhance execution capability.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leadership and the board, supporting growth, innovation, and new business opportunities.
- Manage key internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, board members, consultants, and strategic partners.
Qualifications & Experience
- 15+ years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, business transformation, strategy execution, or management consulting.
- Proven track record in developing and executing multi-year (35 year) corporate strategies.
- Strong experience in leading Strategy Management Offices (SMO) and enterprise performance management.
- Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and capital allocation.
- Experience in IPO readiness, business model transformation, and digital transformation is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in consulting firms or Big Four environments is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certifications preferred.
