Role Overview:

The Structural BIM Modeler is responsible for developing and managing Building Information Models (BIM) from the conceptual design stage through to the issued-for-construction (IFC) phase. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Create accurate and detailed 3D BIM models using software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project coordinators to integrate design data and ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between models from different disciplines to achieve seamless coordination.
• Maintain and enhance BIM libraries, templates, and standards to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.
• Produce visualizations, renderings, and walkthroughs from BIM models to support design reviews, client presentations, and effective communication.
• Conduct rigorous quality checks to ensure models meet project specifications, BIM execution plans, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with Dynamo, Rhino, and Grasshopper is considered an advantage.

Requirements:

• A degree, ideally in Structure engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of BIM experience, preferably with engineering consultants.
• Proven experience working on medium to large-scale projects.
• Good in both spoken and written English.
