We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer with a good background in REVIT to join our team at Trust Engineering Consultancy. With a minimum of 3 years experience. As a key member of our structural engineering department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our project design and coordination processes.
Responsibilities:
- Produce engineering designs, calculations and specifications, using appropriate technical software Co-ordinate input from other disciplines and specialisms as required.
- Prepare technical reports in accordance with clients briefs.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the production of technical drawings.
- Check calculations, specifications, drawings and reports produced by others, in accordance with Operational Procedures.
- Correspond with external third parties (e.g. clients, contractors, architects and/or manufacturers) regarding information and technical queries.
- Collaborate closely with architects, other engineers, and project teams to ensure structural design alignment with architectural intent.
- Utilize advanced BIM software (e.g., Revit, Tekla Structures) to develop detailed structural models and drawings for various building projects.
- Generate accurate structural documentation, including plans, sections, and details, from BIM models.
