We are seeking a highly motivated Structural Design Engineer with 24 years of hands-on experience in designing structural systems for architectural and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and proven experience working within consulting/engineering design firms.
Key Responsibilities- Perform structural analysis and design for concrete and steel structures in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
- Prepare design reports, structural calculations, and technical documentation.
- Develop and review structural drawings and coordinate with the CAD/BIM team.
- Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers throughout all design phases.
- Participate in value engineering exercises and ensure the constructability and cost-efficiency of designs.
- Review project specs, perform design revisions, and support the tendering process when needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- 24 years of experience in structural design within consulting firms.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, CSI Columns, and related tools.
- Solid understanding of Egyptian, British, and/or American codes.
- Experience designing concrete buildings is essential; experience with steel structures is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
