Structural Design Engineer

Job Summary:

The Structural Engineer- (Concrete) will own moderate-complexity concrete structures for power generation, Energh and infrastructure schemes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed civil engineering designs, drawings, and analysis for the civil
• Lead analysis and detailed design of reinforced and prestressed concrete elements.
• Optimize reinforcement layouts for cost, constructability, and performance.
• Review and stamp design packages, ensuring adherence to client specifications and codes.
• Contribute to bid packages by estimating quantities, assessing risks, and reviewing specs.
• Conduct targeted site inspections to verify formwork, reinforcement placement, and concrete pours.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from governmental university

• Experience of 3-7 years working in Design office, designing building structures in Industrial projects (Power project will be an advantage).

• Familiarity with Design codes and standards such as EN/BS, ACI, SBC, ECP, IBC, ASCE.

• Using software like Sap, STAAD, CAD

• Experience of working on multi-discipline projects

• Practical experience of reinforced concrete design and RC detailing.

• Have the capability to technically lead and collaborate with teammates.

• Good communication skills

• Have the ability to make decisions, act on your own initiative
